Adam completed his college education in Finance and Psychology at Penn State University. He became disillusioned by Finance and found more meaning in psychology. While working for a wilderness therapy company and a substance abuse program, Adam sought out both formal and informal studies in sustainability and gardening. Adam discovered how much he enjoyed growing food at an extensive permaculture design course in Israel. Adam has found his passion in planting edible landscaping and working in concert with mushrooms. Adam volunteers as an apprentice at the Bicycle Collective and enjoys nature, snowboarding and capoeira when possible.
